N___11. EVERETT
WASHINGTON
City of Everett Human Needs Grant
January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020
Exhibit A
Program Summary
Organization &Program: Faith Lutheran Church:Safe Streets COVID-19 Hot Meals Coalition
In response to the global pandemic and emergency declaration issued by Mayor Cassie Franklin for the City of Everett in
response to COVID-19,the demand for hot meals and provision of food for those most in need is of the upmost importance
at this time.
The City of Everett was the site for the first COVID-19 case in the nation and has since continued to feel the impacts of the
coronavirus.
As an established agency in the community, Faith Lutheran Church's Hot Meal Coalition will continue to see a high need of
demand for food and food distribution to agencies in need. The purpose of these funds is to provide additional financial
support to the supplies and supply channel the Hot Meal Coalition is a part of.
At the time funds run out or expire, whichever is to occur first, Hot Meal Coalition staff will notify the City of Everett to
determine if additional support is needed.
7
