Sabrina Fandler
From: Sabrina Fandler
Sent: Tuesday,June 19, 2018 10:22 AM
To: 'Janrisconstruction@gmail.com'
Subject: Follow-Up on 4620 Seahurst Ave
Attachments: SS11-001 Plans 24x18.pdf; Construction Erosion &Sedimentation Control Plan for Small
Projects.pdf; 100 GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS-C3.pdf; 100 GENERAL
CONSIDERATIONS-C1_1 OF 2.pdf; 100 GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS-C1_2 OF 2.pdf; 100
GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS-C2.pdf
Hi Chris,
Attached is the site plan from the original short plat drawings (SS11-001). It appears as though both lots 1 and 2 are
designed to discharge their stormwater runoff into a shared infiltration trench with the dimensions shown on the plans.
The Engineer is Joe Smeby from Omega Engineering in Everett. His contact information is listed under the Engineer on
sheet 2. We will need a short memorandum written by Omega Engineering that confirms the infiltration trench has
adequate capacity to receive runoff from the proposed hard surfaces(please quantify)on lot 1 and meets compliance
with the 2014 SWMMWW by Ecology. If Omega's memo states that capacity is not adequate and additional measures
are needed,we will need to know the quantity that those measures need to be designed for and can work with you on
your plan (installing rain gardens, additional infiltration trenches, etc.).
Additionally for compliance, I need to have a site plan that shows utilities and drainage, as well as an erosion control
plan. I have attached examples from our Design and Construction Standards(100 Series Drawings attached,4
documents). You will need to turn in an erosion control plan (you can do this in pen/marker on a copy of your site plan)
in order to comply with Ecology's requirements. The attached Construction Erosion_Sedimentation Control Plan for
Small Projects is a worksheet that you should fill out and turn in,then show the applicable BMPs on your site plan to
function as your erosion control plan.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
A,— CELEBRATING
125 Thanks,
YEARS
A story worth telling
Sabrina Fandler, P.E.
Associate Engineer I Permit Services
425.257.7813 13200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett,WA 98201
Hours: Monday—Friday 7:30am-12:OOpm and 1:OOpm-4:OOpm
everettwa.gov/permits I Facebook I Twitter
Note:Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the Public
Records Act.
1
