9740 Evergreen Way * Everett, Washington 98204
itWESTERN (425) 356-2700 FAX (425) 356-2708
7—ENGINEERS
SIE SURVEYORS
sURVIYORS*EARS LAND USE COPISULTANIS
July 22, 2015; Revised September 25, 2015
City of Everett
3200 Cedar Street
Everett, WA 98201
Subject: Harvey Short Plat 15-001, Soil Amendment Letter Addendum
To Whom it May Concern:
The following is a revision to the soil amendment letter previously provided for the project noted
above. Initially, soils were imported to the site and half were amended into the soils surrounding
proposed lot 2. The remaining second half of soil amendments were stockpiled and amended into
the disturbed soils surrounding proposed lot 1 roughly 3-4 days after the date of the original letter.
Per site visit dated September 25, 2015 verification of soil amendments on proposed lot 1 has
been conducted by myself and in conjunction, resulted in an amendment to the original soil
amendment letter I provided.
Assuming that the original top soil import of 66 cyds to the site was equally spread over both lots,
soil amendment requirements will have been met for both lots. This is based on an approximated
pervious area of 3,250 sf. per lot (after house and driveway install), resulting in a minimum of 60.0
cyds of top soil amendment required (3" depth of top soil amendment) for the project. Assuming
the 66 cyds of top soil imported into the site was tilled into the upper 2" of soil surrounding the
existing house and driveway areas, soil amendment requirement for this project would be met.
Please let me know if there are any questions regarding this amendment letter to the original
letter dated July 22, 2015, thanks.
Sincerely,
nesse JwreOli
Jesse Jarrell, PE
Project Manager/Corporate Engineer
425-356-2700x304
jessej@wesi.com
LAND USE CONSULTANTS*CIVIL ENGINEERS*LAND SURVEYORS*ENGINEERING CORPORATION
