• DD6 - A shrub or tree must be planted in the Filterra Unit. The plant shall be selected from the manufacturer's
a approved list of plants for the Pacific Northwest and shall be a size and type appropriate to the Filterra location.
The plant shall meet clear zone and visibility requirements as appropriate.
• DD6 —The rain garden shown is not required to meet MR 6 or 7 unless the building roof is made from a pollution
generating material. Since no calculations were provided the rain garden was assumed to be a voluntary
measure. As such it was not reviewed to determine compliance with stormwater standards and will not be
tracked as a water quality facility by the City. Consider expanding the gravel backfill under more of the rain
garden to promote infiltration.
Erik Emerson PE
City of Everett, Public Works
Senior Surface Water Engineer
3200 Cedar Street
Everett, WA 98201
Direct: 425-257-8995, Fax (425) 257-8882
eemerson@everettwa.gov
