3.0 SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN WITH ON-SITE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT <br /> As mentioned previously, due to the type of soils present on this project site, this site is not <br /> conducive for infiltration. Stormwater management is not feasible on this project site. Also, <br /> preservation of existing on-site topsoil is highly unlikely except in the areas to be protected in the <br /> wetland buffers along the eastern property line of the project site. <br /> Since the site slopes at approximately 7 percent from west to east, cut and fill have to be utilized <br /> on this project site, negating any potential for pervious asphalt or other on-site Stormwater <br /> Management BMPs. The majority of the site will be impervious surface. <br /> Please see the message from the soils engineer on the following page of this report. <br /> However, COE BMP 12.20, which specifies Post-Construction Soil Quality and Depth, will be <br /> utilized on this project and is referenced on the Grading and Drainage Plan.
