significance of the area, but expressing a preference for the name "Hibulb Lookout" <br />which is more consistent with historic use of the bluff as a "lookout for warring Tribes <br />coming from as far away as Canada and a place to signal and warn the smaller villages <br />across the water along the shores of the present day Tulalip Reservation, Camano, Hat <br />Island and Whidbey Island," and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing on the proposed name was held before Historical <br />Commission on October 28, 2014, and Historical Commission recommended that City <br />Council name the bluff "Hibulb Lookout;" <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />1. The Everett City Council concurs with the Everett Historical Commission's <br />recommendation to name the bluff northwest of American Legion Memorial Park <br />"Hibulb Lookout;" and <br />2.
