The federal portion of the <br /> funding will be used to overlay several eligible arterial street segments. The project will also accomplish <br /> pavement maintenance overlay on various other street segments using local funds. These street segments have <br /> been prioritized and selected on the basis of the City's Pavement Management System. The overlay <br /> project will place roughly 35,000 tons of hot-mix asphalt,and include utility adjustments,and all other <br /> appurtenances necessary to complete the work. <br /> The budget for this project is$4,800,000 and the sources of funds are: <br /> STP—Federal Funds $ 1,000,000 <br /> Fund 119—Street Improvements 3,250,000 <br /> Snohomish County—ILA 500,000 <br /> WSDOT—GCA 50,000 <br /> Total sources of funds $ 4.800.000 <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled, "2015 Federal Overlay Project," <br /> Fund 303, Program 102,to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br /> 7 <br />
