A minimum of 10 feet of perforated pipe is required per 5,000 square feet of roof area:
• Perforated pipe required: 15.6 feet
• Perforated pipe provided: 32 feet
Other Hard Surfaces: Dispersion (full or sheet flow) is not feasible as the site is fully
developed in the existing condition. Infiltration facilities such as pervious pavement will
not be feasible due to the potential environmental impacts of installing LIDs in such close
proximity to a prospective contaminant source.
E. FLOW CONTROL SYSTEM
The project does not propose changes to the exiting site flow control system.
F. WATER QUALITY SYSTEM
Water quality requirements will not be changed from the existing water quality detention
vault, water quality detention pond, stormfilter vault, and biofiltration swale. Oil control
will be maintained using an oil/water'separator. Source controls such as a covered and
hydraulically isolated fueling pad will be re-established for the expanded fueling station.
The oil/water separator will continue to discharge to the sewer, as it does in the current
condition, and has been sized in accordance with the 2015 Uniform Plumbing Code
Section 1017.1.
G. CONVEYANCE SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGN
The project proposes modifications to the existing conveyance system limited to rerouting
the existing system outside of the proposed expansion. The conveyance system has
been designed with sufficient capacity to convey the 100-year peak flow. Figure 10:
Basin Map and conveyance calculations have been included in this section.
6226.0xx
