1 Project Information
Project/Site Name: Costco Fuel Facility— Everett, WA
Street/Location: 10200 19th Ave SE
City: Everett State: WA Zip code: 98208
1.1 Existing Conditions
Total acreage (including support activities such as off-site equipment staging yards, material
storage areas, borrow areas).
Total acreage: 0.66
Disturbed acreage: 0.20
Existing structures: Project site is currently a Costco Fuel Facility with 8 Dispenser islands.
Landscape topography: The site is largely flat with slopes ranging from 2-5%.
Drainage patterns: The existing drainage patterns are such that stormwater sheet flows in
various directions towards on-site drainage structures.
Existing Vegetation: The site has some existing vegetation consisting of mostly landscape
planters
Critical Areas (wetlands, streams, high
erosion risk, steep or difficult to stabilize Site is not located in nor does it contain
slopes): any critical areas worth mentioning.
1.2 Proposed Construction Activities
Description of site development (example: subdivision):
The project proposes to construct a new approximately 3,960-square-foot fueling canopy
expansion with four (4) pump island dispensers. The site will be largely surrounded with
impervious concrete/asphalt pavement. Improvements to the access on Highway 527, as well as
a new controller enclosure will be built in conjunction with the fuel facility expansion.
Description of construction activities (example: site preparation, demolition, excavation):
Construction activities will include demolition and disposing of on-site asphalt and concrete.
Subsequently after the demolition phase, excavation will occur for proposed structures. Such
preparation will include regrading in order to install the proposed improvements.
Description of site drainage including flow from and onto adjacent properties. Must be
consistent with Site Map in Appendix A:
The project site is fully developed, and all existing stormwater flow is contained and routed to its
own private stormwater facilities. The proposed disturbed area will not alter the drainage patterns
Page 14
