OMEGA2707 Wetmore Avenue
Everett, WA 98201
ENGINEERING, INC. t 425.387.3820
f 425-259.1958
December 18, 2018
City of Everett, Public Works
Thad Newport
Hand Delivered
RE: Response Letter for Bayview Lane— PW 1809-017
Dear Staff,
This letter is intended to summarize the changes made to the engineering package submitted
for the permit review for this project. This letter addresses comments the County provided in
their letter dated August 27, 2018 along with the redline markups. I have tried to format this
letter to match the comment letter for easier understanding.
Plan Revisions
1) The comments provided on the mark-ups from the City Staff have been addressed exactly
how the comment directed.
Drainage Report
1) The report has been updated to reference the DOE SWMMWW.
2) The SWPPP Narrative has been updated to remove the reference to the existing paved
driveway and direct the contactor to install a construction entrance.
3) The reference to retaining a vegetative strip has been removed, however, it is always an
acceptable approach to retain vegetation, even temporarily, along the downslope side of the
improvements/disturbance until much of the site has been stabilized.
4) Element 13 added with appropriate discussion for this project.
Thank you for taking the time to review the revised plans and report for this project. Please feel
free to contact me with any questions you may have.
eel
J seph Smeby, P.E.
Project Engineer
