LIU & ASSOCIATES, INC.
Geotechnical Engineering Engineering Geology Earth Science
September 10, 2017.
Mr. Rick Hardt
RV Hardt Properties, LLC
77L4—78th Place NE
Marysville, WA 98270
Dear Mr. Hardt:
Subject: In-Situ Infiltration Tests
5-Lot Plat
1601 Florida Drive
Everett, Washington
L&A Job No. 17-095
INTRODUCTION
We understand that a 5-lot plat residential development project is proposed for the
property located at the above address in Everett, Washington. A new residence is to be
constructed on each lot. We also understand that pervious pavement is to be used for the
access road, traversing the east side of the project site. Runoff over the access road is to
be disposed by seeping through pervious pavement and infiltrating into the subgrade soils
underlying the road bedding materials. Subsurface conditions of the proposed access
road were explored with three test pits and infiltration rate of the subgrade soils of the
road was determined by two in-situ infiltration tests conducted in the subgrade soils.
Presented in this report are subsurface conditions of the access road, results of the
infiltration tests, and our recommendations for subgrade soil infiltration rate to be used in
design of the access road with pervious pavement.
19213 Kenlake Place NE • Kenmore, Washington 98028
Phone (425) 483-9134 Fax (425) 486-2746
