0
Shellie Pons
From: Charles Johnstone
Sent: Monday, April 9, 2018 9:59 AM
To: Shellie Pons
Cc: Jeff Kerwin
Subject: RE: Message from "RNP00267390CH"
Hi Shellie, (sorry I wasn't available... took Friday afternoon off and missed you when I called this morning.) I wonder if
this is the same folks who planned a TI Tony noted early last October. It does look like a place that could be called
'Noodle Nation' the Terra Cotta folks said they were looking into.
RE plan and fixtures, I see they have a good sized wok range. If this is a typical current wok range with integrated drain
system, the drain will also have to be served by the/an interceptor. I of course agree with you on the three comp and
meat prep coverage. If they were recessing it in floor we'd also like the mop sink covered but we can likely exempt that
one. I imagine it's an old slab and they intend to tie into existing floor sinks on that wall (and saw cut as little as
possible).
So I realize this will complicate things a bit for them as it appears they'll also need to fit in another prep sink on a
crowded line. I don't wish it on anyone but it may be difficult to get around needing two systems, or recessing one in the
floor.
If it is the same folks Tony did say last October that their plans were stamped with the 'contact IPT' notice. They are
encouraged to do so with any questions or concerns. Theirs and the city's, I see some very old plumbing behind the
building..
Thanks!
C
Charles LR Johnstone
Industrial Waste Inspector
Public Works/Utilities/Pretreatment
M: 425.257.8240 / D: 425.257.8224
cjohnstone@everettwa.gov
3200 Cedar Street, Everett, WA 98201 *IPT/WPCF COE Industrial -Pretreatment
NOTICE: Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure
pursuant to the Public Records Act.
