Terri Jorgenson
From: Donald Cunningham
Sent: Friday, October 11, 2019 10:40 AM
To: Terri Jorgenson
Cc: Ted de Budden
Subject: FW: Sauna -
Terri—
Here is a copy of what I sent owner Lina Tsymbalyuk—I chose not to share your email—but let her know you are the
once deciding the permit issues.
Thanks for your help!
Don
Don Cunningham
74
Code Enforcement Officer I Everett Police
- 425.257.8564 I 3002 Wetmore Ave., Everett, WA 98201
EVERETT everettwa.gov/police j Facebook I Twitter
Note:Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to
disclosure pursuant to the Public Records Act.
From: Donald Cunningham
Sent: Friday, October 11,2019 10:39 AM
To: 'protileandstone@frontier.com'<protileandstone@frontier.com>
Subject: FW:Sauna ---
Lina—I just spoke with the Permit Technician,Terri Jorgenson, who will be issuing required permits for the code issues
associated with your property.
You will need to work with the Building Dept. to ensure you gain all permits necessary to bring the unlawful structure
and alterations into compliance. I do know if the Demo permit will be sufficient unless you are removing the entire
structure from the property—but you can discuss that with Terri. If you are only intending to reduce the size—that may
require a Building Permit instead of Demo. The structure also had electrical and plumbing elements—including a toilet.
We already discussed the need of electrical and plumbing permits for termination—but I believe a toilet means your
family also installed a side sewer without a permit—so this sewer line issue would also need to be resolved.
I have not yet seen the property recently, but I am concerned that you plan to keep a portion of the structure on a
trailer—So we can talk about that once I see it.
Bottom line—it is the Building Department that you must satisfy for compliance. Please apply for all necessary permits
to get this completed ASAP.
Best,
Don C
Don Cunningham
Code Enforcement Officer I Everett Police
rF 425.257.8564 13002 Wetmore Ave., Everett,WA 98201
EVERETT everettwa.gov/police I Facebook I Twitter
Note:Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to
disclosure pursuant to the Public Records Act. =
1/
