While I understand that it is not on the current agenda, I would urge the council to consider cutting the massive amounts of funding granted to Everett PD every year in spite of the fact that many other parts of the government saw cuts. If my reading of the 2020 budget is correct(and I admit that I do not have a lot of experience there),the police are receiving more money than any other part of the government. I would urge the council to instead focus on funding community programs to support mental health, income equality, access to affordable housing, etc. Thank you! Jamie Peltier 1
