It is an income producer as a rental.
Selling off gifts discourages gift giving. I'm sure the Morrows, who donated the property to the citizens of Everett would
be offended if their gift was sold off.
It is an architectural treasure in the city. The interior wood is intact and beautiful. The wall paper is William Morris. It is
an exquisite example of the early 20th century foursquare Craftsman house, preserved for the citizens of Everett.
This venue is unique in our city. It has character, and is intimate. It's perfect for smaller events of Covid times. It is a
charming place for weddings, parties, company retreats, and other meetings.
I rented the Van Valey for my husband's birthday party and the experience was fantastic. It had a kitchen so catering
was easy. The house has a sound system and is hooked up for audio/visuals. It had ample parking and was an easy
location. The Parks Department was very accommodating. The ambiance of a home, especially one as beautiful as this
one, was wonderful. My friends and family enjoyed the home.
Once in private hands, it will be gone from public enjoyment forever. This historic house can be altered.
1
