After ending <br /> PowerPoint presentation: its service in 1950,the Pegasus was sold at auction and saw various uses around <br /> Yes x No Snohomish County over the years. It was re-discovered in 1992,when the Rotary Club of <br /> Everett purchased it and a new set of tires. Volunteers and donors restored Pegasus <br /> ttachments: and donated it to the City,with the intent that Pegasus be available for future <br /> generations. <br /> Department(s)involved: The purchasing manager reports that the value of Bookmobile is approximately$30,000- <br /> Purchasing, Library <br /> $40,000 based on an appraisal completed by the Everett History Museum. This value <br /> Contact person: was created by the contributions of the volunteers and donors, not City funds. <br /> Theresa Bauccio-Teschlog; <br /> Abigail Cooley Maintenance and storage of Pegasus is a drain on City resources. There is concern that <br /> Pegasus may begin to deteriorate. However,the Everett History Museum has agreed to <br /> Phone number: display indoors and maintain Pegasus. This is a win-win as it both relieves the City of <br /> 425.257.8901(TBT) expenses and honors the intent of those who donated Pegasus. <br /> 425.257.8022(AC) <br /> The attached resolution declares Pegasus surplus and authorizes a 20-year loan to the <br /> Museum. The City will retain title for Pegasus.
