EVE R E T T CODE ENFORCEMENT UNIT <br /> WASHINGTON April 17,2019 Case#CE19-0262 <br /> NOTICE TO COMPLY <br /> Property Owner: <br /> Gregory Owens <br /> 1302 55th Street SW <br /> Everett WA 98203-5916 <br /> Dear Property Owner, <br /> As a result of a complaint,a recent inspection of the property located at 1302 <br /> 55th Street SW,Everett WA 98203. <br /> The property inspection conditions revealed the following: <br /> The property east side,along 13th Avenue W,exhibits an unpermitted property <br /> alteration with no curb cut, requiring a motor vehicle to drive over the public <br /> right of way sidewalk to the graveled area leading to property parking in the <br /> property fenced backyard. <br /> A City of Everett Records Permit Services search for current City of Everett <br /> Public Works Permit revealed there is no City of Everett, Public Works Permits <br /> applied from the property owner or the property owner's hired contractors or <br /> issued to hired contractors of the property owner or property owner for the <br /> unpermitted property code violation of an alteration without permits to the <br /> property. <br /> Your assistance and cooperation is being requested to correct the property <br /> conditions. <br /> The property east side, along 13th Avenue W,exhibits an unpermitted property <br /> alteration with no curb cut, requiring a motor vehicle to drive over the public <br /> right of way sidewalk to the graveled area leading to property parking in the <br /> property fenced backyard is a violation of the Everett Municipal Code(EMC) <br /> Q/U 1 13.16.020(B),which reads; <br /> EMC 13.16.020 Improvement permit required. <br /> B. It shall be a violation of this title to drive over an improvement located <br /> within the public right-of-way,such as a curb,sidewalk or landscape area, <br /> 9 3002 Wetmore Ave. <br /> Everett,WA 98201 without first obtaining a permit for a driveway approach from the city engineer <br /> 425.257.8560 and constructing the improvement(s)authorized by the permit.
