The site of the proposed student housing was the <br /> southwest corner of California Street and Oakes Avenue. <br /> The real estate transaction to acquire the previously approved site for student housing was unsuccessful, <br /> causing Trinity to consider a different location. Trinity has entered into a purchase and sale agreement for <br /> property located at 2610 Rockefeller Avenue, approximately one and one-half blocks north of the parking <br /> garage, and proposes to build approximately 58 rooms of student housing,with the required off-street <br /> parking of one parking space per student room to be located in the Trinity parking garage. <br /> Trinity has proposed a Parking Management Plan and has committed to making improvements to the <br /> pedestrian facilities along the walking routes between the proposed student housing and the parking garage <br /> and the college campus building.
