In order to <br /> provide an adequate law enforcement presence at the event,the PCSD has requested assistance from agencies <br /> throughout the region. This agreement provides for the reimbursement of associated overtime costs and other <br /> expenses incurred by the Everett Police Department as a result of committing personnel to the event. This <br /> amount has been estimated at$17,608.00. Also included in the agreement are general guidelines <br /> participating law enforcement personnel must abide by if working the event. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Agreement between Everett Police Department and Pierce County Sheriff <br /> Department to provide law enforcement at the 2015 U.S. Open Golf Tournament, in the amount of <br /> $17,608.00. <br /> 117 <br />
