N 6. Interfaith Association — Maintenance &Operation These funds will be used for the maintenance and operation costs associated with running Interfaith family shelter. Recommended 2015 - 2060 funds: $55,000.00 7. Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County - Maintenance &Operation These funds will be used for the maintenance and operations costs at the DVS shelter for victims of domestic violence. Recommended 2015 - 2060 Funds: $38,000.00 8. Cocoon House— Maintenance &Operation These funds will be used for the maintenance and operation costs associated with running Cocoon House's Cocoon Complex youth shelter on Pine Street. Recommended 2015 - 2060 funds: $37,500.00 9. Housing Hope— Kennedy Court Improvements This project is for rehabilitation of the homes for Housing Hope's Kennedy Court project in Everett. Opened in 1991, the 8-unit property serves very-low income households that are often at risk of homelessness. The proposed project calls for the replacement/enhancement of various interior unit finishes, building envelope preservation upgrades (siding, roofing, and window replacements), the conversion of a underutilized community room to a common laundry area, and the redesign/implementation of an upgraded common courtyard area. These activities will enhance the long-term viability of an asset that meets a high mission/service need for both Housing Hope and the City of Everett. Recommended 2015 HOME Funds: $428,298.00 10. Boys and Girls Club— North Everett Club Improvements The Boys and Girls Clubs of Snohomish County will use these funds to: The specific requested funds would cover the following: Everett Club - Replacing four (4) glass backboards (adjustable/side baskets) Purchasing and installing fencing to enclose ball field Casino Road Club Purchasing and installing a commercial-grade freezer Purchasing and installing a commercial double door refrigerator Recommended 2015 CDBG Funds: $11,962.00 17
