• 2015 ; <br /> Budget Adjustments <br /> • <br /> Tally Sheet <br /> Deparment Code Rev Ex p FB <br /> GGR-1 Planning Re-approp-EPA Brownfields Grant 021R 276,262 <br /> GGR-1 General Fund Re-approp-EPA Brownfields Grant 002R 276.262 <br /> The City applied for and received a grant from the US Environmental Protection Agency(EPA)in the amount of <br /> $400,000 to conduct Phase I and Phase Il Environmental Site Assessments(ESAs)and cleanup/redevelopment <br /> planning at Brownfield sites located within the City. <br /> On August28,2013,City Council authorized a request for qualifications(RFQ)to support various grant related <br /> activities to include community outreach,site inventory,assessment,prioritization and cleanup planning. Re-approp-2013 DOJ Bulletproof Vest Gran" 031R 6,848 <br /> • <br /> GGR-2 General Fund Re-approp-2013 DOJ Bulletproof Vest Gran 002R I • 6,846 <br /> The Bulletproof Vest Partnership(BVP),created by the Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant Act of 1998,is-a <br /> U.S.Department of Justice initiative designed to provide a critical resou rceto state and local law enforcement. <br /> FY 2013 BVP funds became available in 2013 for purchase of compliant armored vests ordered on or after April <br /> 1,2013. The Police Department applied for funding to cover the maximum of fifty percent of the cost of 50 vests. <br /> The total cost of 50 vests is$37,569;therefore,the EPD applied for$18,784.50. The application was approved in <br /> full.
