The subject project will ensure continued <br /> Water Filter Plant operation in the event of a major earthquake (475 year return period). <br /> The Washington State Military Department awarded the City a grant in the amount of$786,488 ($674,133 <br /> Federal and$112,355 State funds). A local match of$200,407 is required. <br /> The City went through its Consultant Roster and selected AECOM to provide the design and construction <br /> support services for the project. Total expenditure requested to provide the design and construction support <br /> services is $185,400. Budget remaining is$814,600. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the Mayor or his Designee to sign the Professional Services Agreement with AECOM for the <br /> Design and Construction Support Services for the Water Filtration Plant Operations Building Seismic <br /> Retrofit project in the amount of$185,400. <br /> 67 <br />
