I went through two inspections during the demolition and
construction phases, which both were passed upon inspections.
I received a correction notice upon my final inspection that shows the work is
out of code compliance. Since both prior inspections passed, I am having a
hard time understanding how this did not pass final inspection given I
followed the existing slope conditions. The city's existing pavement, existing
curb and gutter have a low spot that meets with my driveway approach and has
obviously sunk over many years, making my approach grade lower than the
surrounding neighbor approaches.
I am asking for a second look at the existing conditions and a possible
variance to the new sidewalk/driveway approach work given the city's existing
low depression roadway area in front of my homes access from the street
Sincerely, Mathew C Kalmus
1%()(
,( l 4,to
13d-ere 10.414e/r,
, R1-Dute a/‘'-firoofeJ,
