• <br /> May 27, 2020 <br /> AGREEMENT—ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION PROJECT <br /> To authorize the Mayor to sign an Energy Services Agreement with the <br /> Washington State Department of Enterprise Services and McKinstry for the <br /> Everett Municipal Building Elevator Modernization Project and the Police <br /> Headquarters Window Replacement Project in the amount of$53,239. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Vogeli <br /> who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br /> PROPOSED VACATION — BAKER HEIGHTS PLAT <br /> Paul McKee, Real Property, presented information on the proposed vacation of <br /> Larch and Fir Streets lying South of 14th Street and North of 15th Street in the plat <br /> of Baker Heights. He noted a revised staff report, which removes the provision for <br /> the City to retain a public utility easement, was distributed to Council earlier <br /> today. <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Roberts, to <br /> open the public hearing. <br /> President Tuohy opened the public hearing and asked for comments from the <br /> Council. <br /> Discussion ensued about the restoration of Pine Street to the grid; Everett Housing <br /> Authority's overall plan, which includes city and land use; the timing of the <br /> appraisal order; and the distribution of the proceeds. <br /> Paul McKee stated he would arrange to have the Everett Housing Authority <br /> present additional information to Council. <br /> • <br /> 161 <br />
