• <br /> May 27, 2020 <br /> Paul McKee presented information relating to the following City-owned <br /> properties being considered for surplus and subsequent sale and disposition, <br /> excluding the Woods Creek property that was removed from discussion. <br /> 1. 3121 Shore Avenue <br /> 2. 6331 Kenwood Drive <br /> 3. 903 East Marine View Drive <br /> 4. 3015 Colby Avenue —Culmback Building <br /> Considerable discussion took place that included the continued need to increase <br /> density in Everett and provide more affordable housing; was there a reasonable <br /> expectation in light of official City documents that the property would or would <br /> not be developed in a certain way?; importance of stewarding utility rate payer <br /> properties; retention of the historic façade of the Culmback Building; types of <br /> marketing strategies used in the disposition of properties to enhance the value. <br /> • In response to Mr. Angel's comments about the Shore Avenue property, provided <br /> earlier under general public comments, Council Member Moore asked about the <br /> reconstruction of the stormwater outflow below the property and the full <br /> disclosure when the property is sold that will protect the City from liability from <br /> what might be considered unstable slopes. <br /> Council Member Bader left the meeting at 1:55 p.m. <br /> President Tuohy announced the public hearing would remain open until June 3, <br /> 2020, and any action on the Woods Creek property would not be considered at <br /> that time. <br /> ACTION ITEMS: <br /> AGREEMENT— NEW CENTURY HOUSE PROJECT <br /> Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member Moore, to <br /> authorize the Mayor to execute the amended and restated Subordination and <br /> Priority Agreement for Housing Hope, New Century Village. <br /> • <br /> 163 <br />
