• <br /> June 10, 2020 <br /> Council Member Roberts spoke about the Everett Police Department's leadership <br /> behind Initiative 940, passed in 2018, which addresses criminal liability in deadly <br /> use of force. He stated that the Sound Transit Board and the Puget Sound Clean <br /> Air Agency are voicing their support for Black Lives Matter. He also provided a <br /> liaison report from the Glacier View Neighborhood meeting. <br /> Council Member Vogeli thanked Council Administrator Deb Williams on her 35- <br /> year anniversary with the City and extended gratitude and appreciation for her <br /> work. She also provided a liaison report from the Casino Road Stakeholders <br /> meeting and the Westmont-Holly Neighborhood meeting. <br /> Council Member Vogeli asked when Boards and Commissions meetings would <br /> resume. <br /> Mayor Franklin stated that staff is engaging with Boards and Commissions <br /> members. She stated staff would notify the council members when their liaison <br /> • assignment board meetings would resume. <br /> President Tuohy thanked Mayor Franklin and Chief Templeman. She echoed <br /> Council Member Vogeli's comments commending Deb Williams. <br /> President Tuohy announced that Action Item No. 13 was pulled from the agenda. <br /> She also stated that the Woods Creek property was pulled from the proposed list <br /> of surplus properties at today's public hearing. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Nick Harper, Deputy Mayor, stated that a preliminary briefing is scheduled for <br /> June 24 to present the finalized budget calendar.
