• <br /> June 17, 2020 <br /> Approved Land Use Actions and Construction Permits. <br /> Allan Giffen, Community Planning and Economic Development, provided an <br /> overview of the emergency ordinance. <br /> Deputy Mayor Harper announced that Allan Giffen is retiring this month and <br /> thanked him for his many years of service. <br /> Mayor Franklin and all council members expressed appreciation to Allan Giffen for <br /> his outstanding and dedicated service to the community. <br /> There were no citizens who wished to speak. <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member Bader to close <br /> the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. • <br /> Motion carried. <br /> ACTION ITEMS: <br /> PURCHASE —THREE FORD CHASSIS TRUCKS <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Vogeli, to <br /> award and authorize purchase of three Ford Chassis Trucks from Bickford Ford <br /> from Snohomish County Contract #062-16SR/EVT#2018-065 in the amount of <br /> $125,152.90, including Washington State sales and vehicle taxes. <br /> Council Member Vogeli asked why the City is proposing to spend money on <br /> equipment during budget deficit. <br /> Lori Cummings, Administration, explained the business decision process regarding <br /> purchases of vehicles and equipment. <br /> • <br /> 180 <br />
