A summary of the bid totals is attached. This project is on a tight time schedule because it is within BNSF right-of-way,which creates short work windows. At the time of submission of this agenda item and cover sheet, staff is still reviewing bids for bid responsiveness and responsibility. Staff is nevertheless submitting this "placeholder"coversheet so that the project can get on Council agenda and project schedules can stay on track. Bid review will be done before the City Council briefing and council will be updated then. Staff will also submit,prior to Council action, a revised coversheet with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder identified for contract award. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize award of Schedule A and Schedule B of the construction contract for the Shore Avenue Stormwater Outfall Improvement Project. 7
