• <br /> 12 <br /> Resolution No.6537 2012. The <br /> City Council adopted a naming policy(Resolution No. 6537)on September 5, <br /> policy requires that requests for naming a public space,including a park,be submitted to <br /> the Mayor for a determination regarding the proposed name's consistency with the <br /> policy. Below is the department's assessment regarding the proposed name's consistency <br /> with the policy(Section 3:Eligibility and Criteria): <br /> 1) Criterion A: Consistent because the naming would occur prior to the project's <br /> construction; • <br /> • 2) Criteria B, C,D,E:not applicable; <br /> 3) Criterion F:The parcel subject to master planning is approximately 3.55 acres of the <br /> entire 15 acre Bruskrud Road Park parcel. The character of the remaining 11.45 acres is <br /> generally similar to the 3.55 acres. It is certainly reasonable to consider that the name of <br /> the 3.55 acres to be decided under the naming policy also apply to the remaining acreage. <br /> The name"South Everett Forest Preserve"would then apply to the entire 15 acre park <br /> parcel.
