ORDINANCE NO. '4049 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Chapter 9.08, Everett City Code, <br /> dealing with parking meters, by adding a section thereto providing " <br /> for removal during periods of construction, and charging a fee <br /> , therefor. <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary from time to time to cause <br /> parking meters to be removed during periods of building con- <br /> struction on private property. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Chapter 9.08, Everett City Code, is <br /> hereby amended by adding thereto, Section 9.08.160, which shall <br /> read as follows: <br /> "Section 9.08.160 <br /> No parking meters shall be removed for the purpose of <br /> facilitating construction on private property except by the <br /> City of Everett, and then only after permit has been obtained for <br /> its removal by the applicant . Any person desiring a parking <br /> ,' meter to be removed during period of construction shall make <br /> application to the City Clerk, which application shall be <br /> :' accompanied by a fee of S10.00 for each meter to be removed. The <br /> City Clerk shall refer the matter to the Building Inspector who <br /> shall approve or disapprove its removal. If approved, a permit . <br /> shall be granted and the parking meter shall be removed for such <br /> '' time as the Building Inspector shall deem reasonable and necessary <br /> Thereafter, the parking meter shall be reinstalled by the City <br /> of Everett .
