• <br /> . - <br /> ORDINANCE NO. .4011. . <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of <br /> Everett, as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of <br /> Everett, also known as Everett City Code 15.04.040 entitled: <br /> "An Ordinance regulating and restricting the <br /> location and use of building and land within <br /> the City of Everet; limiting the height of <br /> buildings; prescribing building lines and size <br /> of yard and other open spaces; providing for <br /> the division of the City into use zones; creating <br /> a Board of Adjustments; and providing for penalties <br /> for violation of the Ordinance. " <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon <br /> the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of <br /> ! Everett, has determined the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use <br /> should be amended; that the area hereinafter described should <br /> be rezoned and such rezoning will be in harmony with the Compre- <br /> hensive Plan of Land Use for the City of Everett. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett <br /> does hereby Find that the changes hereinafter set forth are for <br /> the best interests of the City of Everett, and do hereby amend <br /> the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use of the City of Everett to <br /> provide for the changes as hereinafter set forth. <br /> Section 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, <br /> also designated as "use map" of the City of Everett, as establi <br /> shed by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572, also known as Everett <br /> City Code 15 .04.040 is hereby amended as follows: <br /> All that land lying east of Highland Avenue and <br /> west of the west property line of the Northern <br /> Pacific Railway right-of-way, bounded on the <br /> north by the alley north of Everett Avenue and <br /> said alley extended to the west boundary of the <br /> Northern Pacific Railway R/W and on the south by <br /> the centerline of Ln line (north lanes Everett- <br /> Snohomish road) of the proposed Primary State <br /> Highway No. 1 Hewitt Avenue Interchange, being in <br /> • Sections 20 and 21, Township 29, R 5 E.W.M. ; <br /> be rezoned from existing zones to C-1 General Commercial Zone. <br /> All of Block 651, 652, 653 and 697, all in the <br /> Plat of Swalwell ' s First Addition to Everett; <br /> be rezoned from existing zones to C-2 Heavy Commercial-Light A <br /> Manufacturing Zone. <br /> All of Blocks 654, 655, 656 and 657, and Lots 1 <br /> through 10, Block 694; Lots 1 through 10, Block <br /> 695; Lots 1 through 100 Block 696; and Lots 11 <br /> through 30, Block 638, all in Swalwell' s Second <br /> Addition to Everet; also Lots 11 through 30, Block <br /> 639, Mitchell Land and Improvement Company First <br /> Addition to Everett <br /> be rezoned from existing zones to C-1 General Commercial Zone. 1 <br />
