ORDINANCE NO. 3990' <br /> AN ORDINANCE authorizing the City Clerk to make transfers <br /> between items within any class in the budget for each and every Department <br /> of the City of Everett when necessary to take care of deficiencies <br /> arising therein, and declaring an emergency to exist. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the City Clerk of the City of Everett <br /> be and he is hereby authorized to make transfers between items within <br /> any class in the budget for each and every Department of the City of <br /> Everett necessary to take care of any deficiencies arising therein, <br /> except no salary shall be increased above the amount provided for in <br /> said budget. <br /> Section 2: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist <br /> and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> (//7; <br /> Ct `Clerk <br /> Passed: Dec. 31, 1963. <br /> Published: Jan. 3, 1964. <br />
