CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> ' SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> SEWER"0" UTILITY UPGRADES <br /> WO NO. - UP3691 <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the SEWER"0" UTILITY UPGRADES project will be received at <br /> the Purchasing Counter, 3200 Cedar Street, Door#5, Everett, WA, 98201, until 2:00 p.m.on Tuesday, May, <br /> 19th. 2020. The Purchasing Counter is open Monday-Friday,from 8:00am-3:00pm. At the appointed time, <br /> all bids will be opened and read aloud publicly via webcast only. The link for the webcast is located at <br /> https//www.everettwa.gov/319/purchasing. For questions regarding logging into the webcast call (425)257- <br /> 8903. The engineer's estimate for this Project is$5,672,000. <br /> Work being performed includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to <br /> construct approximately 2,900 linear feet of sewer main, 1,800 linear feet of water main, traffic signal and <br /> illumination system upgrades and other such appurtenances and performing all Work as required by the <br /> Contract, in accordance with the Contract Plans and Contract Provisions. <br /> Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to <br /> Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", <br /> "Public Works", and "City of Everett". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online <br /> documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic <br /> ' sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive <br /> automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders <br /> List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically <br /> 1 check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. Contact Builders Exchange of Washington at <br /> (425)258-1303 should you require assistance with access or registration. <br /> All bids must be made upon the regular forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied by a bid <br /> bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent(5%)of the total amount of the Bid. <br /> ' The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder <br /> may withdraw his Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City further reserves the right to make the <br /> bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City.
