I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS [Modified per Addendum #1] <br /> DIVISION 1 — GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> ' Supplement Division 1 by adding the following: <br /> General Description and Location of Project <br /> Work being performed includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to <br /> construct approximately 1,800 linear feet of water main and approximately 2,900 linear feet <br /> of sanitary sewer main, traffic signal and illumination system upgrades and other such <br /> appurtenances and performing all Work as required by the Contract, in accordance with the <br /> Contract Plans and Contract Provisions. <br /> The Project is in Everett, Washington, and is generally located on Colby Ave between 37th <br /> and 40th, sewers in Alleys between 32nd and 34th St and Lombard Ave and Rockefeller Ave. <br /> Design Engineer <br /> (******) <br /> Questions and inquiries about these Contract Documents should be directed in writing to <br /> the attention of Arnie Roshak, City Project Manager, aroshak@everettwa.gov. <br /> Standard Specifications <br /> (******) <br /> All Work under this Contract shall be performed in accordance with the following <br /> Specifications except as may be exempted or modified by other sections of these Contract <br /> Documents. These Specifications are incorporated by reference, made a part of this <br /> Contract and shall control and guide all activities within this Project whether referred to <br /> directly, paragraph by paragraph. <br /> WSDOT/APWA "2018 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal <br /> Construction", as amended by the APWA Supplements, hereinafter referred to as the <br /> "Standard Specifications." <br /> The Standard Specifications, as modified or supplemented by the Amendments to the <br /> Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions, all of which are made a part of the <br /> Contract Documents, shall govern all of the Work. The following latest edition of other <br /> specifications and standard plans shall apply to the extent to which they are called out in <br /> these Plans and Special Provisions. <br /> 1. City of Everett "Design and Construction Standards and Specifications", latest <br /> edition as found on the Web at "http://everettwa.gov/DocumentCenterNiew/243". <br /> 2. WSDOT Amendments to the Standard Specifications as found on the Web at <br /> "http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Business/Construction/SpecificationsAmendmentsGSPs. <br /> htm". <br /> 111 <br /> 3. "Standard Plans for Road and Bridge Construction", as prepared by WSDOT. <br /> 4. "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)." <br /> 5. APWA Standards. <br /> 6. AWWA Standards. <br /> Each Provision of these Special Provisions either supplements, modifies, or replaces the <br /> comparable Standard Specification, or is a new Provision.
