# <br /> ORDINANCE NO, " <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Section 1 of Ordinance No . <br /> 3401 , Everett City Code 6. 28.010 , making it a <br /> crime for any person to issue a bank check or <br /> draft for the payment of money without having <br /> sufficient funds or credit with such bank or <br /> other depository . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : <br /> Section 1 : That Section 6. 28.010 , Everett City Code, <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> 6.28.010 Unlawful issuance of bank checks or drafts . <br /> Any person who shall , with intent to defraud, make, or draw, <br /> or utter, or deliver to another person any check, or draft , <br /> on a bank or other depository for the payment of money, knowing <br /> at the time of such drawing, or delivery , that he has not <br /> sufficient funds in , or credit with , said bank or depository , <br /> to meet said check in full upon its presentation shall be <br /> guilty of a misdemeanor .
