A a c t ORDINANCE NO. 3 '1 7 O AN ORDINANCE amending Chapter 16, Sections 12 .070, 12 .080 and 12 .170, Everett City Code, dealing with platting. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Chapter 16, Section 12 .070, Everett City Code, is hereby amended to read as follows: "16.12 .070 Hearing--Notice posted. Whenever any proposed plat is submitted to the city, the Planning Engineer shall at once cause, at the expense of the person proposing such 6; plat, not less than three notices of a hearing thereof to be posted in conspicuous places, on or adjacent to the land proposed to be so platted or subdivided, giving notice to the time and ! place where such hearing is to be held, which notices shall be posted not less than seven days prior to the hearing thereof. " Section 2 : That Chapter 16, Section 12 .080, Everett 1 City Code, is hereby amended to read as follows: 3 "16.12 .080 Hearing--Notice mailed. The Planning Engineer shall send by U. S . Mail, an announcement of the public hearing at least two weeks prior to the time of the public hear- ing to the owners, occupants, or persons residing thereon, of all contiguous properties within a distance of three hundred feet from any line of the proposed plat, subdivision, or dedication. " Section 3: That Chapter 16, Section 12 .170, Everett City Code, is hereby amended to read as follows: "16.12 .170 Improvements completed--Certified by engineer. After completion of all improvements, the City Engineer shall submit a certificate, in duplicate to the planning com- mission and the Planning Engineer, stating that the subdivider has completed the required installations in accordance with this title and in accordance with installation standards of the engineering and water departments .
