City of Everett 001113 - 1 <br /> 2020 WPCF Trickling Filter Media Replacement UP 3742-2 <br /> SECTION 00 1113 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 2020 Trickling Filter Media Replacement <br /> project will be received at the Purchasing Counter, 3200 Cedar Street, Door#5, Everett, <br /> WA, 98201 , until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May, 26th, 2020. The Purchasing Counter is <br /> open Monday - Friday, from 8:00am - 3:00pm. At the appointed time, all bids will be <br /> opened and read aloud publicly via webcast only. The link for the webcast is located at <br /> https//www.everettwa.gov/319/purchasing. For questions regarding logging into the <br /> webcast call (425) 257-8903. The engineer's estimate for this Project is $1,200,000, not <br /> including sales tax. <br /> The City of Everett owns a Water Pollution Control Facility located near Everett WA and <br /> is seeking a Contractor to replace the existing trickling filter treatment media within the <br /> existing Trickling Filter #2, including removal of the structures aluminum domed roof for <br /> access, removal of the existing media, replacement of the media support grating, repair <br /> of any concrete spalling or coatings, installation of the new media along with resetting the <br /> domed roof. The work to install the media will be performed after November 1st, 2020. <br /> The Water Pollution Control Facility is located at 4027 4th Street Southeast, Everett WA. <br /> Pre-bid walk-throughs are scheduled at 10:00 a.m., May 15th, 2020 and at 2:00p.m., <br /> May 21st, 2020 on site at 4027 4th Street Southeast, Everett, WA. All interested bidders <br /> must attend at least one of these scheduled walk-throughs. Any questions and/or answers <br /> that may affect the bid will be included in an addendum to the bid documents and sent to <br /> all the plan holders. <br /> Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and <br /> Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to <br /> www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of <br /> Everett". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with <br /> the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous <br /> reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that <br /> Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and <br /> to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register <br /> will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on- <br /> line plan room for addenda issued on this project.
