Grand Avenue Utilities Replacement,UP No. 3711 <br /> June 30,2020 Project No. 170095 <br /> The above scope and cost does NOT include civil stormwater drainage design, stormwater <br /> infiltration design other than rates, surveying, structural engineering, or services during <br /> construction. We are not providing an environmental (contamination impairment)assessment of the <br /> Site but will provide feedback if we observe potentially impacted surface and/or subsurface <br /> materials. Additional requested consultation beyond the scope of work described herein will be <br /> billed on a time and materials basis in accordance with Aspect's Schedule of Charges. <br /> Schedule <br /> We are prepared to begin work on this project immediately upon receiving notice to proceed(NTP). <br /> Assuming NTP on July 8, 2020, our Draft geotechnical report can be submitted within 6 weeks <br /> (August 19th)and our Final geotechnical report will be submitted by September 4,2020. This <br /> schedule assumes the City will review and provide comments on the Draft geotechnical report <br /> within one week. <br /> Our proposed schedule with key milestones and assumptions is detailed below. <br /> Task Date of Start Date of Completion <br /> NTP July 8, 2020 <br /> Task 1: Data Review July 8, 2020 July 10, 2020 <br /> Task 2: Exploration Planning and Permitting <br /> — Preliminary Plan July 8, 2020 July 14, 2020 <br /> — Site Visit July 14, 2020 <br /> — Final Plan, Coordination, Permit Approvals July 14, 2020 July 22, 2020 <br /> Task 3: Exploration Program and Soil Testing <br /> — Coring and Drilling July 29, 2020 <br /> — Soil Testing July 30, 2020 August 12, 2020 <br /> Task 4: Deliverables and Geotechnical Design <br /> — Draft Geotechnical Report July 30, 2020 August 19, 2020 <br /> — Final Geotechnical Report August 26, 2020 September 4, 2020 <br /> a—allows 1 week for City review <br /> Assumptions <br /> The Soil samples collected during the investigation will be stored for a minimum of 60 days after <br /> the completion of the subsurface exploration; however, storage beyond that date is not guaranteed. <br /> The Client is responsible for gaining permission for Aspect personnel to access the Site and for any <br /> approvals and permits, unless specifically stated in the scope of work above. <br /> All field activities will be coordinated with you prior to start-up of any work at the Site. A <br /> minimum of 3 business days prior to drilling, we will visit the Site to mark the boring locations in <br /> white paint and/or stakes for the required public locate request. We will take reasonable precautions <br /> to reduce the potential for damage to utilities; however, Aspect does not assume responsibility for <br /> the cost of repairing utilities that are unmarked or incorrectly marked. <br /> Page 4 <br />
