I <br /> 1 ORDINANCE Atoo <br /> 2 AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3922 , Section <br /> 1.16.150, City Code of the City of Everett, providing for one additional <br /> 3 Battalion Chief in the Fire Department, and eliminating the position of Captain <br /> 'rilimaster and declaring an emergency to exist. <br /> 4 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 5 <br /> Section 1: That Section 14 of Ordinance No. 3922 City Code <br /> 6 of the City of Everett, Section 1.16.150, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 7 "SECTION 14: FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> 8 There shall be the following named officers and assistants in the <br /> ire Department, to-wit: <br /> 9 <br /> One Chief; one Deputy Chief; three Battalion Chiefs; <br /> 10 one Superintendent of Communications Department; <br /> one Assistant Superintendent of Communications Depart.. <br /> 11 ment; two First Class Technicians; one Fire Marshal.; <br /> one Assistant Fire Marshal; one Master Mechanic; one <br /> 12 Assistant Mechanic; eighteen Captains, one Captain <br /> Inspector; thirty-eight Fifth Year Pipemen; one <br /> 13 fourth Year Pipeman; two Third Year Pipemen; eight <br /> Second Year Pipemen; five first year Pipemen; one <br /> 14 Pipeman assigned to general maintenance; one Secretary. <br /> 15 It shall be the duty of such officers and assistants in said <br /> .'epartment to perform the duties indicated by the name of their employment, <br /> 16 nd such other duties as the Chief of the Fire Department or Commissioner of <br /> afety may authorize and direct." <br /> 17 <br /> Section 2: That an emergency is hereby declared to exsist and this <br /> 18 rdinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 <br /> 21 <br /> 1 <br /> J;,,22 4e - �L'� / <br /> 23 ' MAYOR <br /> 24 j <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Attest: <br /> =I , ; / <br /> 27 {ii �! < <br /> 28 '1� CITY CERK <br /> 29 , <br /> assed: 6/18/63 <br /> 30 6/19/63 <br /> 31 Published: <br /> 32 <br />
