ORDINANCE NO. 3956. AN ORDINANCE amending Section 14.12 .020, City Code of the City of Everett, governing charges and rates for sewer servic: and declaring an emergency to exist. WHEREAS, a cost study has been made of the cost of construction of sewer line to furnish sewer services to specific areas recently annexed to the City of Everett, and WHEREAS, said study specifically indicates that the rates for sewer connection charges to cover cost of construction of sewers in said area should be increased from the standard !; charge of $2 .75 per month to $3.75 per month. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 7i Section 1: That Section 14.12 .020 is hereby amended to read as follows: "14.12 .020 Charges and rates for sewerage service . The classes of users connected and to be connected to the Sanitary. Sewer System or the Combined Sewer System and the charges for sewage service for each are hereby fixed as follows : I. Properties served by the Everett Municipal Water System within the corporate limits of the City: A. Flat Rate Domestic Water Accounts 1 . Single Family Dwellings $2 .25 per month 2 . Multiple Family Dwellings $2 .25 per month for first living unit, plus S1 .50 for each additional living unit . 3• B. Metered Water Accounts 1. Paying up to S50 per month 3/4 of monthly rate ' for water with $2 .25 monthly minimum charge . 2 . Paying not less than $50 537.50 maximum per and under $120 per month month. for water 3. Paying not less than S120 $45 .00 maximum per and under $140 per month month. for water 4. Paying not less than $140 $52 .50 maximum per , and under $160 per month month for water 5 .
