ORDINANCE NO. 5e,5^5i AN ORDINANCE of the City of Everett, Wash- ington, specifying and adopting a plan for the acquisition, construction and installation of certain additions and improvements to and extensions of the system of sewerage of the city, declar- ing the estimated cost thereof, author- izing the issuance of not to exceed $4,200,000 of sewer revenue bonds of the city to provide funds to pay such cost, and declaring an emergency. WHEREAS, the existing municipal sewer system of the City of Everett, Washington, is in need of certain additions, improve- ments and extensions in order to properly collect and dispose of sanitary sewage and is particularly in need of the construction and installation of certain trunks and lateral sewers in areas annexed to the city; and WHEREAS, in order to pay the cost of acquiring, construct- ing and installing such additions and improvements to and extensions of the municipal sewer system it is deemed necessary and advisable that the city issue and sell its sewer revenue bonds in the prin- cipal sum of not to exceed $4,200,000; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. The following plan for the acquisition, con- struction and installation of additions and improvements to and extensions of the system of sewerage of the city is hereby speci- fied and adopted, to wit: A. The city shall acquire, construct and install the following described interceptors , trunk transmission lines and pumping stations for the purpose of intercepting and transmission of the collected sewage to its e::isting sewage treatment facility: (1) A twelve (12) inch diameter pipe in and along NORTON AVENUE from a point of intersection
