Please review and <br /> respond to the comments below. <br /> Architectural <br /> 1. On Sheet A0, the type of construction is indicated to be Type 5A (non-sprinkler'd), which <br /> would require the exterior bearing walls, interior bearing walls, primary gravity framing <br /> members (steel columns, beams, floor, and roof construction) to be 1-hr fire resistive <br /> construction. The plans do not appear to have documentation indicating that the new <br /> framing elements are 1-hr fire resistant. Please provide documentation, such as floor, <br /> roof, wall assemblies, and relevant schedules that indicate the composition of the new <br /> construction with accompanying references a tested assembly, such as the Fire Resistant <br /> Design Manual, for instance. IBC Table 601. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br /> All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC), 2015 <br /> International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International Existing Building Code (IEBC), the 2015 <br /> International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and/or the 2015 <br /> Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted <br /> by the City of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 <br /> "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1).
