The options are the Long -Range Plan — Growth Option (identified in the City Council adopted Everett Transit long range plan) and the Unified option (identified as merging with Community Transit). At the March 18, 2020 City Council meeting the council authorized the mayor to sign a professional services agreement with Nelson/Nygaard Consulting. In order to assist city staff with the identification of a preferred option a comparison analysis will also be conducted against the baseline of the current funding structure for Everett Transit. This briefing summarizes the project's phase 1 outreach and presents the next steps for phase 2 of the Rethink Transit project. The team is developing service scenarios for each future year -option combination and will perform analysis on each of these scenarios. The information on each scenario will produce informed feedback from the public on which option they prefer. RECOMMENDATION: A briefing and project update.
