Application for licenses gas herein pro- <br /> vided shall be accompanied by a Fee of $ 2 5: as to ground sprayers <br /> end $ / p O .-- as to exterminators; said fee shall be for the <br /> calendar year or any fractional part thereof , all licenses expire <br /> on cue : 1st day of December . <br /> Section ' . rb,vocat i on of license , right to appeal to <br /> City Council . A :round sprayer or pesticide applicator or exter- <br /> minator ' s license may be revoked by action of the City Clerk when- <br /> ever the City Clerk deems such act i onfzi s necessary for the protec- <br /> t ion of the pull i c health and safety`s f that the holder of such license <br /> has violated the Washington Pesticide Act , or this ordinance , or <br /> any other laws of the State of Washington dealing with such activity ; <br /> provided however , such revocation shall be by order of the City <br /> Clerk in writing which order may be issued only after a hearing <br /> before the City Clerk at a time and place to be fixed by said Clerk <br /> at which time the licensee is given an opportunity to 5e heard and <br /> has been notified thereof by a notice in writing of the time and <br /> place of hearing mailed or delivered to the holder at least three <br /> days before the date fixed for such hearing , which notice may be <br /> mailed to the business address of the licensee as set forth in the <br /> licensee ' s application for license . An appeal may be taken by the <br /> holder in the event the Clerk issues an order revoking such license <br /> to the City Council by filing a written notice of appeal with the <br /> City Clerk and serving e copy upon the City Attorney within ten <br /> days after written notice of revocation is given to the licensee or <br /> certificate holder . The hearing before the City Council shall be <br /> de novo as to the reasons and grounds therefor , and the City Council <br /> may refer the appeal to a committee for hearing and recommendation <br /> or take such other action thereon as it may determine . The action <br /> of the City Council shall be final . <br /> Section 7 : State law. Where used in this ordinance, <br /> Washington Pesticide Act shall be taken to mean the "Washington <br /> Pesticide Application Act" as adopted by Chapter 24r , laws of <br /> 1931 , laws of the State of Washington . <br /> -2- <br />
