Attachments: POE Terminal Rail Upgrades; Port rail project David, Yes,the Terminal Rail Upgrade permit-PW1611-028-was issued on Jan 19th A letter was sent to Mr. Ehrlichman via email on Dec.30th (see attached) providing notification of the Port's application for the Terminal Rail Upgrades project and letting him know that the plans were available for review at our office.To my knowledge,we did not receive a response from Mr. Ehrlichman. We received an email from your office on Jan.4th(see attached)indicating that Legal, in concert with Planning, had determined that the proposed Terminal Rail Upgrade project was not"integrally connected with any shoreline development"and that processing of the application should proceed as for a "normal project". I hope this info is helpful. Please let me know if there is anything else I can provide or if there is further action required. Dear David, We appreciated your prior assurances that the City would inform us if any permitting took place. I understood the City was holding off on permitting for the Port's south terminal work, including the RR. I heard today that the City may have issued a public works permit for the Port's Railroad Phase II project on or about January 18? Would you please notify us if that is the case or if perhaps we've got this confused with some other City permit issued on or about that date for the Port? Thank you, 1)2j
