Unit A.Arlington, WA 98223 <br /> phone:(360)733.7318 toll free:(888)251.5276 fax:(360)733.7418 <br /> LATERAL FRAMING INSPECTION REPORT <br /> PROJECT: Cargo Transit Shed Relocation JOB#: 18-0297 <br /> CLIENT: Port of Everett REPORT#: LF003 <br /> CONTRACTOR: McClure&Sons PAGE#: 2 of 2 <br /> GeoTest was onsite to perform a special inspection on the following items: shear wall repair <br /> areas from Gridlines B-D/1-2, shear wall repair areas from Gridlines B-D/10-11, and the large <br /> opening at Gridline —C.4/11. All items conformed to the approved plans and specifications. <br /> The following non-conforming items noted on LF002 dated 10-24-18 were corrected: <br /> • Exposure 1 sheathing was verbally accepted by the Port of Everett and KPFF for the shear <br /> walls from Gridlines B/10-11 and D/10-11. <br /> Sprinkler Room <br /> • Sheathing at NW corner of the sprinkler room at approximate Gridlines B-B.2/11 was <br /> extended to the existing sheathing and fastened per the shear wall schedule. <br /> • Screws were used instead of nails and not at correct spacing for SW2 and SW4 walls. <br /> Large Door Opening at Gridline —C.4/11 <br /> • An extra stud was installed underneath the end of the beam and fastened to the existing <br /> studs per the approved pattern. <br /> • Simpson H2.5T clips were installed at from the above studs to the beams. <br /> • Simpson LSTA15 strapping was installed between the end studs and the beam. <br /> • The current beam of four 2x12s was fastened together using Simpson SDW22 screws per <br /> RFI #21 <br /> The following non-conforming item noted on LF001 dated 10-1-18 was correct: <br /> • Exposure 1 sheathing was verbally accepted by the Port of Everett and KPFF for the shear <br /> walls from Gridlines B/10-11 and D/10-11. <br />
