73 <br /> • <br /> The regular Administrative session Of the City Conn- <br /> oil was held August let,1912,at 3:30 P.M.,with Mayor <br /> Claristeneon in the Chair and all Cormassioners present at <br /> roll call. <br /> 1. Communication was received from the City Engineer, <br /> reading as follows: <br /> "T beg to report at follows on the proposed im- <br /> provement,by paving of Haat Grand Avenue road Everett <br /> Avenue to 24th Street. The estimated cost of this <br /> provement will be approximately#12,000.00,while the <br /> It of aseesement,as defined by the State law and City <br /> ordinance is only 17,625.00. <br /> Under these conditions and according to my judg- <br /> ment the only way this Improvement may be realized is to <br /> either have the entire property Within the assessment area <br /> preSent a petition specifying a higher limit of assessment <br /> or second to create two separate local improvements and do <br /> only a portion of the work under each contrast. <br /> Respectfully, <br /> S.W.Hoover,City Engineer. <br /> Same was accepted and placed on file <br /> 2.
