Yaa <br /> The regular Administrative Session of <br /> the City Council was held October 2nd,1914,at 10:30 <br /> A.M.,with Mayor Clay in the Chair and Commissioners <br /> Clay,Melly and Salter present at roll call. ,9 <br /> On motion minutes were approved as of record. <br /> Mr.Ahlmen.secretary Central Labor body pre- <br /> dented to City Council a draft or an amendment to city, S, <br /> Charter providing that preference be given to citizens <br /> of city and to heads of families in employing inner on <br /> public corks and L.I.D.contracts;else draft of an <br /> ordinance providing for certain minimum wages and an <br /> 8 hour day on all public work and L.I.D.contracts. <br /> loved by Clay end seconded by Kelly that the <br /> matter be laid over until October 3rd. <br /> e" Carried Unanimouslyy <br /> Moved by Kelly and seconded by Salter that <br /> 2-200 candle power lamps be installed In Central Farr <br /> between Oakes and Loebard.city Clerk instructed to <br /> notify Puget sound Light a lower Co. 1 <br /> carried unanimously <br /> On motion council adjourned at 11:50 A.M. <br /> City Clerk 410. <br />
