• <br /> The regular Administrative session of the <br /> y' City Councilwar held February 20,1915,at 10:30 A.M. <br /> with Mayor Clay in the Chair and Commissioners Belly and <br /> 'Salter prevent at roll call. <br /> On motion minutes approved as of record. <br /> Resolution No.2214-by belly <br /> WHEREAS,bre.James Oates,has heretofore filed <br /> with the City Clerk a notice stating that she objeotr to <br /> liquor dealers in the City of Everett selling Sntoxioathng <br /> liquor to her eon,Thor.Oates,and <br /> WHEREAS,said notice shows that the said Thos. <br /> Oaten is an excessive user of intoxicating liquor;and. <br /> WHEREAS,The City Council deems that the proof <br /> euhmitted is sufficient to show that the said Th..Oates.is <br /> an excessive user of intoxicating liquor;now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY TRE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> K.,. OF EVERETT,that the City Clerk be,and he is hereby instruct- <br /> ed to notify each seller of intoxicating liquor in the city <br /> of Everett not to sell or give,or permit hie empaOyeee to sell <br /> or give,any intoxicating liquor to the said Thos.Oates and <br /> after resolving said notice it ehall be unlawful for any deal- <br /> er in intoxicating liquor,or any employee of euoh dealer,to <br /> eell or give any intoxicating liquor to the said Thoe.Oates. <br /> Carried unanlmouely <br /> Moved by Belly,seconded by Salter that the report <br /> of the Fire Chief as to the installation of new hydrants be <br /> accepted and the purchase of 6-6e hydrants axe hereby authorised. <br /> Carried unanimously <br />
