1270 <br /> • <br />• The regular Adminletrative Session <br /> of the City Council was held September 99,1916,at 10:30 • <br /> A.M.with Mayor Merrill in the Chair and Commiealoners <br /> Merrill,Kelly and Clay present at roll call. • <br /> On motion minutes approved as of record, <br /> Resolution Ac.9405-by Clay <br />• <br /> WHEREAS,petitions have heretofore been filed <br /> • <br />• with the city council of Everett requesting eaid city council <br /> to submit to the qualified electors of the city of Everett a <br /> proposed amendment to the charter of said pity,providing for <br /> an ln0recae of the limitation upon the general tar levy;and <br /> that other petitions have been filed with the said pity 0000- <br /> Oil requesting It to submit to the qualified electors of the <br /> city a proposed ordinance relating to organization of the Fire <br /> Department within said city,a. <br />• WHEREAS,the city council of Everett has care- <br /> fully examined the sail petition*,and finds that the petitlona <br /> for the submission of the proposed amendment to the charter of <br /> said city were signed by 4364 qualified electors of eaid city, <br /> being more then ane-fifth of the qualified elector,of said city <br /> as.Gown by the votes cast at the last municipal election there- <br />,. Sn,and <br /> ...AS,the eaid city council further finds that. <br /> the petitions for the aubmlasion of the proposed ordinance were <br /> signed by 4331 qualified eleot0rs,being more then fifteen per <br /> cent of the qualified electors therein ae shown by the vote caet <br /> at the last municipal election therein, <br />
